Parents Teachers and Friends Association  (PTFA)

 Mill Green actively encourages parents and families to be involved in the life of the school/college.  The school/college has a very committed PTFA and exists to provide closer links between home and school; it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.

The committee meet once a term to discuss past and up and coming fundraising events, some events that are held throughout the year are:


  • Easter and Christmas coffee mornings
  • Summer Fayre
  • Entertainment evenings
  • Non uniform days

The PTFA also discuss ways in which the money raised can be used to improve the opportunities the school can offer students that will enrich their learning experiences. Classes and staff can make a request to the PTFA for items they would like to purchase which are not provided for within the school budget.

Notice boards located outside the school office promote parental involvement, events and activities and all parents are welcomed to join the committee and / or come along to any of the meetings.
