Sean Lenahan

Headteacher

Sean is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall performance of the school.

Cath King

Deputy Headteacher

Cath is responsible for Curriculum Development & Accreditation, Progress, Teaching and Learning, Key Stage 5 including transition, EHCPs (Key Stage 5), Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and SMSC, Cultural Capital.

Cassie Surrey

Deputy Headteacher

Cassie is responsible for Whole School Therapy Provision, Sensory Curriculum, Positive Behaviour Support, Autism (NAS/AET), Key Stage 4 including transition, EHCPs (Key Stage 4), Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Lisa Moran

Assistant Headteacher

Lisa leads on the development of teaching and learning across the school. She also leads on our Early Career Teacher Programme, and Initial Teacher Training Support.

Adele Beresford-Smith

Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison Officer

Adele is responsible for Safeguarding & Child Protection, Pastoral Support, Family Liaison, Early Help

Stephanie Shipley

School Business Manager

Stephanie is responsible for Administration, Site and Midday Teams, School Finances, Human Resources Premises, Health, Safety & Environment

Our Middle Management Team supports the Senior Leadership team in ensuring that the support for young people at Mill Green School is Outstanding:ย 

Lee Miller

Leader in SEND, Therapies and LAC

Lee is responsible for the development of the therapeutic provision at Mill Green, as well as supporting our Looked After Children.

Peter Eden

Key Stage 4 Manager

Peter supports young people across Key Stage 4. He works closely with the Senior Leadership Team on transitions into Mill Green School.

Claire Lynch

Key Stage 5 Manager

Claire supports young people across Key Stage 5. She works closely with the Senior Leadership Team on transitions into Key Stage 5 and transitions on to other provisions, post-Mill Green.

Rob Rigby

Leader of Literacy

Rob is responsible for the co-ordination of whole school literacy, including instilling a 'love of reading' across school. Rob is passionate about the development of functional literacy skills to ensure learners at Mill Green are prepared for the literacy demands of adulthood.

The Behaviour Team

The Behaviour Team consists of Cassie Surrey (PBS Lead), Adele Beresford-Smith, Hilary Wells and Valerie Parker. Hilary and Valerie are also TEAM TEACH tutors who are deliver a rolling programme of in-house training to ensure that young people are best supported within school. The Behaviour Team works with young people, parents and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and support within the school environment.
