Parents Teachers and Friends Association  (PTFA)

Mill Green actively encourages parents and families to be involved in the life of the school/college.  The school has a committee of Parents, Staff and Friends who raise money for the direct benefit of young people of Mill Green, while promoting the school within the local community.

The committee meet once a term to discuss past and up and coming fundraising events, some events that are held throughout the year are:

  • Easter and Christmas coffee mornings
  • Summer Fayre
  • Social events such as BINGO and comedy nights
  • Car Boot Sales

The PTFA also discuss ways in which the money raised can be used to improve the opportunities the school can offer students that will enrich their learning experiences. Classes and staff can make a request to the PTFA for items they would like to purchase which are not provided for within the school budget.
