Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III

In the lead-up to the Coronation of King Charles III, our young people had a fantastic time getting creative, engaging in lively discussions and focussed learning that culminated in them having their own historic celebration on Friday 5th May. The whole school enjoyed a fantastic ‘street party’, with every corridor in school adorned in themed decorations and flags that our young people had produced – some learners even adorned themselves with some fantastic coronation crowns of their own! We’re sure you’ll agree their efforts really paid off with an experience that they will remember for some time to come!

As a school, we are aiming to sustain our learner’s thinking around the impact of the Coronation, including the promotion of key British Values beyond this weekend and are looking forward to continuing our thoughts throughout the rest of this year and beyond.
