Personal Development with Paramedics

This week one of our teaching groups visited a local ambulance station based in Warrington as part of their Personal Development session. They had the opportunity to askย  the Ambulance Crew questions that they had prepared in their previous lesson, listened to the answers and recorded them. The visit provided the class with insights into a day in the life of a paramedic, the different job roles in an ambulance station and the career paths into those jobs. The whole class were model ambassadors for the school and really enjoyed having a look around the ambulance. During a demonstration of some of the equipment that paramedics use, Harry A was surprised to find that he had no pulse on the monitor – luckily it was found later!
